Grantown-on-Spey, a cozy retreat 🌲✨
Super comfy bed, love the fridge and those tasty biscuits were a lekker touch! The location was peaceful, I enjoyed the quietness after a long day hiking. Chatted with the host, he was a proper chommie, really friendly!
Walked to the bathroom across the hall, a bit weird but not a big deal.

A lovely stay at Ardenbeg! The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, with a super comfy super king-sized bed. Touches like tea, coffee, and shortbread made it feel special. Enjoyed morning coffee in the peaceful garden while watching the birds. The information book was a great resource, filled with suggestions on things to do. A small fridge with milk upon arrival was a nice extra. The shower pressure was a bit low, which was frustrating during my morning routine. it would have been great to have some plates or cutlery available, as dining options felt limited.

The hotel’s ambiance is charming in a picturesque setting.
During my stay, I faced several inconveniences. the water pressure in the shower was uncomfortably low, which made my morning routine frustrating. without breakfast included, I struggled to find a nearby café that opened early on Sunday, leading to an empty stomach until well after 10 AM. Lastly, the room layout was challenging for dining, as there was no dedicated space to eat without having to rearrange furniture.
